At least she fessed up and let the lie be known when it became too much. (And it didn’t effect anyone negatively…You’ve got to admit, out of all the lies, hers didn’t have any bad consequences on anyone other then herself if they got out.)

Again, if Fancy wasn’t a total bro, she would have been cast out of the high class society…until Celestia says otherwise. (Seriously, just knowing the princess personally, or her prize student alone should get her into the high class society.)

@QueenCold
Well, there would have been consequences if Fancy Pants hadn’t stepped in to help her.

And I believe her friends wouldn’t have been that mad at her, since Twilight’s guess was a rough answer for what was actually going on.

The only real lie, that I would have liked to have seen come out was Rarity’s statement of Rainbow being trainer of the Wonderbolts. (It’d be a good cutaway joke.)

The CMC get off with a lot of stuff yes, but so do Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. The only time an adult gave either of them a scolding was Cheerilee, but she should have been on the problem at the very start. {Shouldn’t she have looked over the papers before they got printed? You know, cause it’s her school? She’s partly to blame. And let’s not forget that Diamond and Silver don’t actually do the best job at hiding their bad behavior.}

And what’s wrong with Rarity in that episode? Honestly, it was believable and she didn’t deserve any sort of punishment. (Who should be punished is the writers who keep forgetting that the main six are national heroes…and that Rarity should already be a well known fashion designer as Hoity Toity uses her designs at that point in history.)

I’ve come to the conclusion that Twilight was out of line there. She was pretty much grasping at straws to make Cadance out to be a terrible pony, when she had nothing. {Not to mention the way she handle the argument was terrible.}
So no, none of them was guilty of anything…Except Shining for pretty much banning her from the wedding. (And again, we don’t know how much influence Chrysalis had on him. It could have been her idea from the start.}

That’s why I hate ‘call-out’ fics based around that episode since they tend to ignore how Twilight was pretty much in the wrong. (Why didn’t she, you know, talk to Cadance or Celestia beforehoof? You know, ponies who knew Cadance before, unlike her friends who couldn’t tell? And yes, she tried Shining, but ran off.}

The MMDW…yeah, her friends were in the wrong. (And Rainbow Dash forgave them way too easily. I thought she was going to tear into them for doing that to her.)

Yeah. I mean, take “A Canterlot Wedding” for example, after Shining, the Mane 5 and Celestia ditched Twilight, only Applejack apologized. And how about “The Mysterious Mare-do-Well”, where the Mane 5 went to extreme measures to teach Rainbow about her bragging?

Okay why there’s a sparity tag in this? I mean come on! They’re friends! Not some love relationship! Not every picture of some characters either hug, interact, or anything, has to be count as shipping!

This is becoming real evident amongst the writers, it doesn’t matter how well paced and executed the first and second acts are. By the time you hit the 3rd act and conclusion, the whole thing falls off a cliff

Sounds like the beginning of a fanfic plot in which Spike becomes resentful after being punished for being loyal to a friend and rejects friendship because of it.
Evowizard25

This ending was so anti-climactic, it hurt. I mean, it was a great episode…and then it rushed its ending. Plus, I believe Spike deserved to be punished for being so stupid. {Taking an obviously evil book, not telling anyone when Rarity went on a rampage.}
