Twilight’s bond to her friends, make love and friendship an attachment

Spike would age just as slowly as she does, being a dragon and all. And she would still have Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Flurry Heart. It is not like she would not make new friends. Memories of her long dead friends would start to fade after a few hundred years. She would have to keep journals, like Ashildr, or, Lady Me, to remember everyone she has known and everything she has ever done over the centuries and millennia. She has four or five more people just like her who share and know her grief. Cadance and Flurry Heart especially would know how hard it was to lose Shining Armor. Perhaps this image depicts the moment when Twilight realizes the pain from losing those first friends is slowly numbing and she finds herself caring and remembering less and less about them and that knowledge makes her sad and angry.

You know, just once I’d like to have one of these pics where she isn’t immortal, but just lost them all to other circumstances. Immortality blues is just a suped-up version of survivor’s guilt anyhow.

question is she immortal? cause cadence is a alicorn too and she ages. so that means she’s probably not immortal and neither is twi. makes for great art though
