I never play the D&D game but does it always involve a saving a princess?
 
Heh. In 25 years of playing I don’t believe that particular plot has ever come up in my games. Two characters in my current game do happen to be heirs to two different thrones, though (one human, one dwarf). The current direction of the campaign is to prove the human’s lineage, and sway public opinion against the current pretender to the throne (all while keeping the undead army outside the city at bay).

DHX Media is an animation company.
The writers are employed by Hasbro Studios, not DHX.
 
DHX Media is an animation company, but they do more than the animation. The VA recording for the Toronto cast is done on the floor below the main animation department. Or at least that’s what was presented in an early behind-the-scenes video.
 
The script-writers are contracted via Hasbro so they’re technically Hasbro employees, but it doesn’t mean Hasbro itself is writing them.

Based on the spells rattled off in the S06 premiere, they’ve got the classic spell naming conventions down, at least.
