To finally this, I made the comparison even bigger, included some EqG characters, alicorn powered Tirek, Crackle, giga alicorn from Rainbow Rocks, some real animals and biggest current aircraft carrier.
I calculated Tirek’s speed of growth and he really become kaiju sized.
Torch is the same size of smaug and the red death:!file:///C:/Users/PROMASTER20777/Downloads/tumblr_071d339f73cb981d1f237739a6012e01_26cf8d2c_500.jpg!!file:///C:/Users/PROMASTER20777/Downloads/tumblr_071d339f73cb981d1f237739a6012e01_26cf8d2c_500.jpg!
I do not think so. As much as he can grow up, the Tirek’s bastard at the most serious of a 5-level building, in addition to that an excess of consumed magic could kill him.
Everybody is talking about the ponies/humanoid sizes, i’m just here sitting and thinking about the file size itself. 20 mb for a png? like.. The heck ?!
@Cirrus Light
Okay, good that’s quite reasonable although I still have a lot things on my mind to backup my argument, but I learned my lesson last year; arguing something as simple as this is just give me 3 months headache and almost make me quit the fandom. see not worth spending it with my precious time
@CyanLightning
Well, the reason I think they’re the size I claim is comparisons. They’re the right size compared to apples, the door frames in Equestria Girls, monarch butterflies, and the “eight foot candy cane” to be about a meter, give or take a little.
You can take whatever belief you like, but not all are equally logically consistent.
Plus, the eqg blooper thing confirmed this roughly-a-meter ballpark.
Sometimes I just wondering why we are discussing about something trivial as this thing, it doesn’t matter which size in your headcanon. no headcanon is wrong or right, it’s up to you. My headcanon is personally this
Does that make your headcanon wrong? Absolutely not, it just show you what I accepted as my headcanon. And most importantly what we will get by arguing about this? Almost nothing. at the end headcanon is one own interpretation of an event in the show with your own reasoning that make sense to you
What’s really upsetting about this is everyone else keeps saying “look at this picture someone drew. You’re mistaken. They’re right.” when I have analyzed four different methods of ascertaining their height and did all the work behind that and ran the numbers.
Also, Markiz, “not more than” means “they’re less than or equal to”.
The range my four methods converged on was 80-110cm. They’re somewhere in that range.
And that image you’ve posted actually agrees with what I was saying.
@Cirrus Light
I mean, there’s the Equestria Girls bloopers. Human Dash wasn’t incredibly larger than Pony Dash. And in the photo, humans aren’t essentially pixels next to the jets the way Ponies are.
@Cirrus Light
Actually, looking at that (particularly the human in comparison to the jet) I kinda think the Ponies are too small (with everything else being correct). I don’t think a human would tower over a pony like that. Hell, we even see an average sized human being able to mount (in the noble steed sense) a Pony, so…
@Darth Sonic
I checked the specs online. It’s about right. There’s a lot of distance between the front seat and the back seat, mainly to make room for the second guy’s instrument panel.
@Cirrus Light
Even then, I think it is a bit over-big in this chart due to the size of the cockpit. It looks like it should house a small family, not just two pilots.

No, ponies have less than 1 meter, have you forgotten? You said it after you realised you made a mistake in your comparison.
And this one is right:

Well evidently not if you’re still thinking the ponies are too small compared to jets :P
But you seem to be saying something a bit different - that you think ponies should be larger?
Well, I present to you… SCIENCE! >>991140
They’re almost definitely at most 110 cm.
Yes, we get the picture.

Yep, he got it. I was careful about this stuff. I have been vindicated. As I said, jet fighters are huge :p
Yeesh, didn’t know it took up that much space. Thanks for clearing that up!

I remember seeing an F-18 up close in San Diego and was impressed by the size. Not to mention the Super Stallion helicopters.
Massive compared to humans, too. Because they’re fast and agile, most people never realize that jet fighters are actually huge…
There’s one without real vehicles in it, but it also doesn’t have the Avatar of Friendship & Giant Tirek.
