In the default show form all the student six should be considered underage.
Whether you call them a colt or a teenager seems to me to be semantics.

- if you know the OC is normally an alicorn, but the picture is cropped so you can’t see their wings, just tag them as “alicorn”.
- if you know the OC is normally an alicorn, but they visibly don’t have wings in the picture (because of an artist mistake or something) tag them as “alicorn” and wingless.
- if you don’t know the OC’s species (or you’re not sure which OC it is), ask the artist for clarification. If that’s not possible for whatever reason, then just go ahead an tag them based on what’s visible in the picture itself.

It’s semantics which have a Site Assistant making an Official Statement about it, so if we could get a proper judgement on it from a Mod or Admin that would be good, since I’ve added colt to several dozen images with Sandbar in them and I’d like to know if I should change it to teenager in the .txt file I use for adding the full and complete list of Student Six tags to the bajillion screencaps that get uploaded with the bare idiot minimum of tags.

“Colt” and “filly” both are sometimes used to refer to clearly-adult characters in the same way that English uses “boys” and “girls”; I would take the show using them with a grain of salt unless the sentence was something like “he’s just a colt, not a stallion”.
That said, we now have three male ponies with the same body type of being the size of a mare and having some indicators of being young, so it’s clear they’re either teens or adolescents, unlike previous male characters.

I think it is correct to tag Sandbar in his normal show form “teenager”, instead of “colt”; same with Star Tracker and Pistachio.

Is fluffy boi a useful tag at all? It just seems synonymous with the Deltarune character Ralsei at this point, though I did remove it from >>1886756 earlier.

I can never remember – what’s the official policy regarding whether or not the
screencap tag should be added to screen captures from official games like the gameloft app? Put another way, should the tag be added only to screen captures of official videos, or to screen captures of official material in general? Princess Luna

The paradigm has always been that things like Gameloft don’t get screencap, only actual FIM/EqG content and the official video ads that use them. The tag is intended to mean “this image came from an actual episode/movie/video short of FIM or EqG”, not “Pony related material that appeared on a monitor”; that way anyone searching knows an image with screencap is Actual Content™ instead of fan work or associated media.
