Twilight would still be dead and that would a MAJOR accomplishment for any villain on this show.

It’s also a questionable assumption that ripping out an alicorn’s throat will kill her. Leave her mute, perhaps, but she’ll just invent a “magic voice” spell.

Forget Starlight/CMC. How about Starlight/Mane 6? There’s really only ever been one genuine attempt made to include her in the group up to this point: The Mean 6.
 
I’ve said before, I would honestly like for her to be included within the mane six’s adventures, provided they don’t have her being the sole standout, the only one who ends up right while everyone else is wrong.

Thinking about that… yeah that’s probably a death sentence too. Twilight wasn’t overly happy at her house being blown the hell up, and I kinda have doubts on if Twilight or her friends really lost sleep over Sombra dying either time…

Like when she atomized Sombra for killing Discord? She doesn’t even like Discord all that much and she murdered Sombra in retribution. I shudder to think of what would happen if someone seriously hurt Spike…

Well, Twilight was only under the impression that he was seriously injured, not that he was dead, and there’s still the thing about how Sombra maliciously mass-brainwashed their whole town, how he threatened her family before that, wouldn’t be surprised if she gave that other timeline a thought too, with that war.
 
All things considered, you’re probably dead if you murdered her little brother though.
 
Back on the earlier topic though, regarding Chrysalis’ power, thus far, it seems like Tirek and Cozy Glow are the best thing that’s happened to Chrysalis since the S6 finale. With those two to work with (especially Tirek), she has many more options than before… assuming it doesn’t all go to hell in a handbasket.

You’re forgetting Shadow Play too, where Starlight was the only sane one while Twilight was going all “notice me Senpai” to Starswirl and the bearded fuck refusing to make friends with Syndrome I mean Stygian and the others are like “we’re here too, I guess”.

When even our protags could theoretically kill anyone they wanted to in seconds and the only thing holding them back is that they lack the capacity to realize it?
 
Too much power? In this show, that’s a funny way of saying they have a ghost of chance just to live.

You can kill anyone in seconds. Walk up to any given human with a carving knife from your kitchen, stab them in a major artery.
 
The thing is, it’s not the act that’s the problem, it’s getting away with it. Twilight can’t casually murder the villain of the week because he was a bit of a dick to her.
 
And if you’re talking about the major villains, Twilight has indeed in the past just gone for the killing blow the moment she came face to face with them. The Dazzlings (where it didn’t work unfortunately) and Sombra (he got better) both got elements to the face without much hesitation.

On the other hand, I quite like that they didn’t try and force her into the mane group (at least outside of that stupid montage). The other manes may trust Twilight enough to go along with her pet project, but that doesn’t mean they trust or like Starlight, especially after Every Little Thing She Does. So instead she forms her own circle of social outcasts.
 
Of course, after a couple of years, saving each other’s lives and working together as colleagues, it’s also appropriate that they do try to include her more. But she’ll never quite be one of them.@PonyPon
 
Do you know how much blood an alicorn can survive losing? I’m going to guess “a lot” with a side of “it’ll only bleed for a few seconds anyway before sealing”.

Most of the problems in the show are not of the sort where murder is an acceptable resolution. And even in the cases where it may be,the show often prefers a more peaceful one.

I’m still disappointed that Daring Do really was a Dash recolor, and I’m disappointed that Quibble Pants really does have Daring’s color palette.

Alright, a bit silly to complain about.

I really don’t like the trend that a lot of next-gen artists do of making Flash Sentry into an abusive/cheating asshole who only seems to be there to have Twilight divorce him and go onto another mare/stallion.

If you’re going with a “made of harder stuff” interpretation, would that would apply to Grogar too? Well, probably pure speculation, anyway.
 
I sort of wish the series had a higher rating, so it could say, be explicit that Earth Ponies naturally have higher “vitality stats” and better “natural regen.”
 
In any case, it should be a universal consensus that so far in the series, nobody is invincible, and can therefore die.

The thing I’m a bit torn on is, how did Sombra get away from that Elements blast exactly? Did he fake a defeat somehow? Did he not die from it, just get banished? Did Grogar resurrect him again, and he did his own thing again?

Even though Daring Do is literally a Dash recolour, she never looked like one to me.

If you hate Flash Sentry or Blueblood or whoever then why write them making whatever female character you like pregnant?
