I disagree super hard, even if you do have a point about her initial (for real) appearance; of all the princesses, Cadance seems the most… personable, like someone I would actually want to know. Britt McKillip does an amazing job of making her seem like one of the most genuinely good and decent people in the entire series, like someone who might be scared out of her fancy metal shoes by the world-shattering terror in front of her, but will stand up to it and fight it even if she doesn’t think she has a chance in Tartarus of winning, because it’s the right thing to do and there are people counting on her and someone has to stand up for what’s right. She wants to help, to make the world a better place than it is, not because she wants it better for herself but because she sincerely believes that the world should be better than this and anyone who has the ability to do so should advance that goal as much as they can.
 
Cadance is nice, and that’s important.

While we’re on the subject, am I the only one who doesn’t have a problem with Chrysalis being able to overpower Celestia?

She was suuuuuper buffed on Tha Shinnin’s love, multiplied by a racial bonus for absorbing strong emotion and boosted by literally being the strongest one of her kind.
 
…Also I still believe Celestia took a dive and intentionally decided to stay down because she was sure Twilight would be able to figure it out.

Power levels never really bothered me all that much, but if any were to annoy me it was Twilight’s Kingdom. It’s why I don’t want them to focus on battles that much.
 
Based on the logic of Twilight’s Kingdom, Twilight is as powerful as HALF of EQUESTRIA’s population.
 
Because herself plus the three princesses was roughly equal to Discord plus ALL OF EQUESTRIA’S MAGIC.
