Power Rangers Megaforce had a bad habit for having poorly explained plots or just plain confusing meta explanations (or lack thereof). Gosei, pictured above, once said “There’s a simple explanation for that.” before getting cut off before he could explain.
 
Linkara liked to use that phrase to mock these plot holes.

Yeah, it’s sad to think it’s been gone for 4 years now, G4 is going to outlast the channel it launched on by twice it’s age. It’s also really weird knowing Rainbow Rocks was the first piece of new MLP animation that aired on Discovery Family

Yeah, I miss the Hub. For crying out loud, it brought Tiny Toon Adventures and Animaniacs back to television for the first time in well over a decade.

I just realized that Shadowlock’s cloak was likely a design allusion to Stygian’s. Neat.

I could teach you in a minute and a half how to drive a tractor– ain’t mean you’d be worth a bucket-a hog slop at plowin’ a field. There is clearly a lot more to it than just “pick the apples and go get drunk lolol”– we’ve seen multiple times that it takes a good eye and experience to pick out the unsaleable trashfruit from the good apples, and all Twilight did was just grab every bonniedamn thing off the tree and call it a day; there is zero reason aside from DURR HURR LET’S SLAG ON EARF PONEZ to think she had any better results than we saw Flim and Flam have, and they had apple cutie marks.

No, Disney is buying Fox, who has a major share in the company, thus if Disney buys Fox, then it will have the majority share in the company. Ironic as Disney is planning on making it’s own paid subscriptions service for all it’s TV shows and movies, much like what CBS did

as funny (and, well, frankly true) it is to point out how evil disney is, let’s not let this thread get too sidetracked. besides, now that i think about it, i wonder if earth pony “magic” would protect the apples from bruises and bumps as they fall between 5 and 15 feet to roughly land in wooden baskets, and why it still wouldn’t be faster to pick them all at once with magic and then sort them.

But no real unpopular opinion, I really didn’t care all that much about Flight to the Finish. I was really hoping that it was going to be about racial tensions of all things, which Scootaloo, who is disabled in a very unique fashion, in that she is perfectly able bodied for roughtly 2/3 of the population but not so for her own race, which would lead to an interesting dicotomy between Scootaloo and the rest of the CMC since from their point of view, Scootaloo not being able to fly wouldn’t be that big a deal since it doesn’t really limit her where she lives, where as Scootaloo would see it as being unable to be to fulfill that desire to be able bodied

i didn’t mind it, but i’m not such a fan of the cmc episodes to begin with so i really can’t give them a fair shake. if nothing else though, at least they showed that ponyville’s orphanage is a decent enough place to live:

Also I don’t think it’s a bad episode but there is a lot of potential drama and story telling from the setting that I think was wasted

God, college lately has been sapping up my time, so I’m sorry I haven’t been active on this thread as much. I’m ALMOST done with Season 2 on my binge-athon, all I need is the season finale and I’ll give out my final thoughts on the season.
