It’s a shame that we aren’t getting any more official EqG comics. Was the backlash for the holiday one really so great as to discourage IDW from making more?

There’s been backlash against every new release for most of the time IDW has had the license and yet there’s still a new issue or 3 every month. I doubt reception is why IDW hasn’t made any new EQG story in a while.
 
IIRC they’ve only done EQG for their annuals to begin with.

Yeah, but EqG took up the first two annuals and then just… stopped after the second. Despite EqG only becoming more popular from then on.

I wouldn;t say it’s exactly a conflation, but a parallelism. Maybe a better, or at least as good composition to me though, would have pony Twilight in the centre in the left one, with Sunset in pony Twilight’s position, and the right one left as it is.

Is it just me or a lot of vector artists often get Sunset’s colors wrong?

I don’t know if it would be better or worse if they just slapped the vector of Twilight’s glasses onto her in the first picture.

I’ve really come to love this outfit over time.

At first I didn’t know what to think about it (in the sense that I was just “ehh….a new outfit” wthout having strong opinions) but I growth to love that attire. She looks badass.

Am I the only one who shat rainbows when they actually get to made Sunset and Starlight meet each other (cus’ I’ve been daydreaming since Starlight’s debut on what if these two of my beloved ponies where to meet) and Starlight’s sexy yet adorable design.

I still think the Friendship Games was the best outfit. It was cool and sleek.

Since I compared Sunset’s and Twilight’s, might as well talked about the rest while I at it.
 
Doesn’t look that much different except for the boots design, which is definitely for the better.

For someone who never cared much about fashion to begin with, Equestria Girls sure made me critical and skeptical about it xD

RD got one of the better redesigns, the pink skirt just clashed so horribly with the rest of her look that even just changing the color alone would have been a huge improvement. Also, I still prefer FG Sunset, and wish they would kept it
