I sent him all my comics after the annual came out.  
They were so bland and horrid he didn’t want their destruction filmed.  
He just straight up buried them under a foot of dirt and said to let the worms have it.

Not reflections. He destroyed Reflections and two micros. Pretty sure one was RBD but I don’t recall the other since I don’t have the mail anymore. Oh, and Nightmarity.

I posted it on the IDW forum but that Sprite jerk keeps deleting my posts.  
He compared it to being as bland and intelligence-insulting as a non-fantasy Barbie comic.

To be fair, Ashens has pretty bad tastes when it comes to cartoons and thinks Adventure Time makes profound statements and is quality entertainment.

Well, and I think the Sonic OVA is fun, opinions are wacky like that.

Okay, calmed down a bit and still think it’s an ass idea for the show runners to throw away the potentially interesting stories they themselves brought into question, but let’s not dwell on things nobody wants to cares about.
 
What exactly would they do for Nightmares origins? They’ve already given the somewhat silly idea that Luna’s emotions are so powerful, they own her more than her own mind, and can leave her and ‘infect’ others presumably because she’s an alicorn and things happen, but what would a comic even be like?
 
Would they go back and make it out like some evil force of evilness that came from a place, or is it a whole issue of Luna trying to be relevant(and obviously failing) and/or Celestia being negligent?

@K_A Nearly everything. I completely dumped the comics, although I nicked reflections (at five finger discount mind, no way I’d support that nonsense) for the express purpose of sending those to him. I had the first two arcs, micros, FFs, and last year’s annual.  
I only kept the Whitley ones, like the CMC with Discord, and Rara because Rara.  
(though it should be obvious that I have nothing of Cook’s aside from the first two issues of that first arc. I’m a hipster Cook hater! She completely lost my trust and respect by the second issue.) Oh, also kept the Babsxie one to remind me to bug people for that ship.

I’m not morally outraged or anything, I’m just asking. Lord knows that if somebody reported to have stolen this piece of shit, I’d send him to a guidance counselor.

@441TheSecond Yeah, no way I would ever have bought Reflections after the /mlp/ storytime for the first one. Well more like an even trade since I bought Blackcord while at hot topic. But it was just so bad that I wanted to have it burned on youtube. Turned out it was so bad it was not even worthy of that honour. Plus I had to send some hilariously bad dollar store transformers ripoffs anyway, since he looooves those “disassembled toys in plastic meshes” stuff sooooooo much. Who decided that shit was a good idea?  
It’s aggravating taking them out of the plastic and you wind up with ruined bits from having to twist and pull so much and it doesn’t fit correctly as a result.  
Anyway I made the mistake of asking him to read them while burning them.  
Instead it sounded like it gave him PTSD.

I typically don’t save mail past a week, unless it’s political, some sperglord going all Archy4288 over one of my r34 uploads, or spam mail with kittens. (my first kitten spam mail is from 2006!) I’ve saved only about 220 mails over the past 10 years. I feel like I should use my gmail for piracy because all that space isn’t doing anything else.

He got something like 4 or 5 full collections. “Where the hell is this all coming from?!?”  
I explained about the situation regarding Herr Teddybear in my last mail and that was when he said he buried them. So that response might have been before mine.

@Itsthinking Yeah pretty much. It was only twp paragraphs, first mostly talking about what he did with them, which is I wager similar to throwing a dead body in the midden rather than affording it a proper burial. Insulting to his intelligence, plot development felt like asspulls (this one sounded like it was in regards to Nightmarity instead of reflections), child characters all shared the same personality (annoying), supposed role model mentor is a Nick Kids caricature of a school setting’s valentine’s episode.  
He didn’t mention anything about cameos aside from Mario&Luigi (The hell are they doing there? Does Nintendo know?) as Cadence’s advisors so I don’t think he paid enough attention to catch the plethora of others.

Oh, he noticed Mario & Luigi on his own? Strange. That’s a weird issue to give him. What was the “Nick Kids caricature?”
