Are you sure about this? The back halves of griffons are mammalian.
Edited
-They both have claws
-They both can fly
-They both come from species that lay eggs
-They both come from cultures that don’t have the friendliest of reputations
-They are exceptions to their species, Griffons and Dragons are usually rebellious, rude and greedy. But not these two smol kittens
-They both are in the mailing business
-Their both comic geeks
-They are closer in age so its not creepy
So that’s eight things already that they have in common…yeah these two are perfect for each-other.
Sisi Ni Sawa
That already been said, yes.
And they come from cultures that don’t have the friendliest of reputations.
Sure, and it’s fine if they do. It’s no skin off my nose.
Ship away, all’s fair in fiction, I say. I’m just personally more interested in canon than fan-preferred pairings.
Very intelligent comment and I agree with most of the things you said but let’s be honest here, would that really stop shippers from shipping Spike with Rarity or Gabby? HELL NO!
Edited
I honestly agree with you completely. It’s good and healthy that he’s not obsessed and I doubt Rarity’s jealousy was romantically motivated (I felt the same way in regards to Discord’s jealousy towards Tree Hugger).
Sure, but I feel like Spike’s “moving on” in the sense that - even if he doesn’t romantically like Gabby - he’s no longer obsessed with Rarity like he used to be. He’s treating Rarity like just another friend now, which is a lot healthier and better for him in the end since that relationship - due to their age difference - just wouldn’t happen.
I feel Rarity’s jealousy wasn’t romantically motivated, but more from a place of appreciating Spike as a person. Rarity is a grown mare, so any sort of romantic affection toward an underaged dragon would be a big no I’m sure.
I’m getting Deja Vu. Did you post that before in the other conversations about this episode? I think you did.
@Ranch
I’m just as surprised as you are.

The episode doesn’t seem to end with anyone getting into a romantic relationship and at one point Rarity actually seems a bit jealous that Spike isn’t spending time with her. I’m sure some of the Sparity fans will be alright.
Spike is a child and Rarity is an adult. Sparity was always meant to be a one-sided crush that Spike would eventually grow out of, and I believe we’ve finally witnessed that happen.
ROT IN HELL SPARITY!
Long live Spabby!
Spurned Sparity fans incoming.
Goood holding out for Spolder
Yeah “just friends”
They’re friends as far as the episode is concerned.Any romantic relationship hints is your shipping googles doing
Gallus: “That’s it! Now nuzzle him! Spike, run you claws through her chest fluff”!
Silverstream: “What are you doing, Gallus”?
Gallus: “I know creatures who will pay big bits to see this ship sail’!
A crazy random ship that I like is actually canon.
