But the one thing they love more than a hero, is to see a hero fail, fall, or die trying. In spite of everything you’ve done for them, eventually, they will hate you. Why bother?”
He probably says that to everypony. :P
And even if he meant it in the most literal way possible, she still wasn’t forced to buy or wear the damn thing. She went in with bad intentions. (Unlike Rarity, who can’t really be faulted for what happened to her. On a side note, after “Inspiration Manifestation” and “Power Ponies”, I’m guessing Twilight took Spike’s library card away for a bit.)
“Something drew you to my shop, something powerful.” 🤔
Point taken. (Trixie still chose to be, though.)
Twilight used dark magic. Trixie and Rarity were used by dark magic.
The only other dark magic user is Sombra. There aren’t really any useful points of reference for this, and I felt like I had to say something.
Rarity and Trixie weren’t just using dark magic of their own accord. They got affected by old, powerful artifacts.
Well, he wasn’t very good at the whole ‘Gray Jedi’ thing. And beyond that, we never actually saw him use any Light Side powers, so he was probably talking out of his ass to convince Anakin. I mean, Kyle Katarn repeated what pretty much amounts to the same idea to his students, i.e. using all sides of the force, and he’s pretty firmly a good person last we saw.
Besides that, a wizard who uses all forms of magic is what we in the D&D community call a Universalist, which Twilight has pretty firmly established herself as.
@Ebonysdagger
Er…. no. With 10,000 men, women, and children dead, (not to mention innumerable soldiers) and a Galaxy under the control of a sadistic dictator who took pleasure in torturing and killing people.
I’d also like to bring up proper Gray Jedi. Like Jolee Bindo. And Kyle Katarn. Really, just Gray Jedi.
With an awesome story spanning decades full of lovable rogues, princesses, and space magic?
Well, Palpatine thought the same thing of the Force. Look where that ended up…
a 4 letter word..

CRAP
nah, I’m just kidding… The word is.

You. Triple-score. Same voice actress, provides an example of such magic not being evil, and provides a comparison character.
Impressive.
apparently so, yet the tag pertaining to it remains
Can it be addicting and control you? sure but thats still up to the user
