Of course, your reactions won’t be as intense because there’s no tension from unknown factors like how much pressure is going to be applied or when, or the general happiness of being intimate with another person, but it is physically possible.
Does the billowing mane keep tickling her because the blanket keeps it pressed against her skin? Do the princesses have to tuck their tail and mane somewhere where they don’t touch their skin when they go to bed? You can’t tickle yourself because your brains cancel the tickling sensations when it knows it’s just your finger, but those manes and tails don’t seem to be any under conscious control.
