Not really. Just shows the ideas of the early fandom, back when the show was in its infancy. A neat little piece of history.
I mean when referring to a character; basically going on the TV Tropes definition (that being the only place I’ve heard the term at all, and the source of a tag name or two around here.) The other definition may be a thing too, but… I don’t see a blanket or a teddy bear. I think the resident woobie is Scoots herself.
I believe it’s actually from a movie. It’s typically a blanket, stuffed animal, or something, anything that brings comfort to someone. At least, that’s from what I’ve heard.
