You know, this was a great scene to set up the episode plot. We see from the start that Rarity is a much more dynamic, “physical” girl than Fluttershy. Rarity enjoys getting practically mauled during her spa sessions, while a few simple gentle touches are enough for the more delicate Fluttershy. This gets reflected later on when Rarity pressures Fluttershy into the modeling job even though it’s too much for Fluttershy to deal with, and ends up jealous when Fluttershy gets all the attention she wished she were getting.
