I think the idea is that when all the cutie marks on all the thrones glow, that’s when the map of Equestria is revealed.

I guess it’s kinda neat that the Cutie Marks on the thrones glow when the corresponding ponies sit on it, but ultimately, there’s nothing really groundbreaking here.

The hidden thing is Rarity’s cutie mark on her throne. If you saw the season 5 animatic, you will know what I am talking about.

It tells me that the outline of the season 5 premiere was drafted some time before animation of Rainbow Rocks was completely finished, considering that this particular detail in the background has no relevance to Rainbow Rocks, but will be important come season 5.

The only thing I see is that the symbol on the floor changed angles to point towards Rarity’s chair. Other than that, the image is so blurred that I can’t make out details.
