Its not a normal repost because someone doesn’t know it is up. They are uploading a higher res version so it can be merged with the old one. This is very common, there is no way to get a hi res version to replace a smaller image without a repost yet.

Anyways I figure Spike’s returning Cadence and the Guards because they said no, and he finally got through the first ‘stage’ of the courtship.
He realizes that an commitment made under such pretenses would be invalidated due to “entrapment”, and that it Spike has gone through something akin to a “greed growth” situation. Shining is just talking Spike down before things get even more out of control.

@Deserter Have you been following the series? There’s one where he proposes to Rarity, Twilight and Luna at the same time. Going by Rarity’s expression, we got some pretty quick Stockholm Syndrome going on.
