I should note the look of the 79 one in it’s ending run looked a lot like how the 05 one looked at start, but this image is from years ago, I would say early 90s at the latest.

I also saw the dub and in the one episode i saw, sue, the girl character in the image said the line “that’s a boner”, she was using it in the old fashioned sense but its still funny all the same. the episode in question was about dreams.

No, this particular scene is from the older anime then the one dubbed.
The 2005 anime is the was that got dubbed, this looks like the 1979 anime that ran until the month before the start of the 2005 one.
