Well, as a military stallion, Flash would be more likely to be the disciplinarian over the friendship-focused Twilight. Plus, his work would take him out of the house, while Twilight would have converted the basement into her laboratory and do all her research there. Their son would have a chance of appealing to their father when he comes home for clemency, but when it’s clear both of them will discipline their kid, that’s when the fear set in.

The idea that Twilight, an alicorn of immense power and standing, has to use “Wait until your father gets home” leaves me a little uneasy.
