The problem is, there’s close to no one on Derpibooru who knows that, so this picture doesn’t appear to be pony related unless you follow the artist’s blog regularly.
actually this is an OC from a comic he’s writing that features Spike, this is actually a little more related than you think

Although, this picture shouldn’t really have been posted here. It’s not one of the artist’s best, and it’s an experimental style anyway. Not to mention it’s only vaguely pony related.
What you basically say now is “The hell with crativity! Everyone just copy what DHX does!”
The vast majority of artists doesn’t draw show style. They all developed their own styles. And that’s their god damn right!
It at least should be in show style, and this one is not
“dragon oc”, except it doesn’t really resemble FIM dragons at all. It just looks like your average furry anthro dragon.
So, what kind of indication do you need?

It’s a teenaged MLP dragon OC. It belongs here just as much as griffon and diamond dog OCs.
