Then riddle me this, if changlings can in fact change their mass why haven’t they all turned into an army of 100ft dragon’s and taken over the world.

Ps I think changlings can change their mass if they pile together and shapeshift all at once so if that’s the case your right my argument is indeed invalid.
His argument is also invalid in D&D terms, because background pony seems to believe that queen chrysalis would be stated the exact same way as her drones.
