I’m actually following the Dark Horse releases, so I’m not at the final chapter, yet. I will say in its defense that the manga is very good at giving the characters no plot armor and having the courage to off likeable, heroic characters. It provides an appropriate dark catharsis to the experience and makes later chapters when some stability is reached very satisfying.

So I was curious and started Gantz>
 
IT JUST FRICKIN STARTED AND OVER HALF OF THE CHARACTERS JUST INTRODUCED WERE KILLED!!!
 
AND THEN THE AUTHOR CALLED THE READERS OUT TAKLING ABOUT, HOW THE CHARACTER ENJOYED SEEING DEAD BODIES. HOW DID THEY CALL OUT THE READER? IT WAS FROM A 1ST PERSON PERSPECTIVE.
 
I’m sorry. I’m enjoying Gantz so far, but it is pissing me off…

Yeah, if this was like Gantz we would see how the civilians try to get closer and take photos of the giants and saying things like “Look, they are so UGLY.”, “Watch out how that guy is getting eaten, by a giant.” or “Hey, this retard thinks he can eat me… OHMYGODHE’SEATINGMEHELPME!”.
