“So… probably shouldn’t have opened the valve on those bellows, hm?” The grey earth pony loosed a weak chuckle as she looked up at the now much more overinflated sight of the pegasus, a decidedly unamused expression meeting her own eyes. It had taken longer than either of them had hoped, but she did eventually manage to make the bellows cease their incessant operation - once he had been pumped full of enough of the gas to leave him as quite the large blimp, anyways.
“Well, it definitely got me reinflated, if nothing else. But, yeah, probably shouldn’t have.” He loosed a small huff, floating gently in the breeze flowing along the valley. The cooler air ticking his butt was decidedly less enjoyable than the feeling of the earth pony straddling his ballooning body, but not much to be done about that at this stage.
“Eheh, indeed, by quite the margin at that.” The earth pony rubbed at the back of her head, looking over what was visible of the pegasus from underneath his overfilled body. “And you’re sure there’s no way to get you deflated more quickly?”
The pegasus thought for a moment, puffy cheeks squeaking against his body with what little movement he was afforded in this state. A coy look came to his muzzle. “Well, I suppose there is one way - since you were kind enough to share some air earlier, only fair I return the favor, hm? After all, why have one balloon when two’s more fun?”
The earth pony looked at him for a moment, before a blush came to her face as his suggestion finally settled in. He could only chuckle at her reaction, still floating adrift in the valley.
It may not’ve been the demonstration he was hoping to give, but at least it’d be one hard to forget.
My entry for Winterlight’s contest, a little self-indulgent sequence. Shenanigans ahoy~
