It’s why I play on survival instead of creative. When you actually have to find and craft your stuff, it feels like a goal you’re working toward and you have to design around your limitations. On creative, where you just have unlimited everything, building stuff just seems like a chore to me :P

Heh thanks. I actually made that thing from scratch, and on survival to boot. Stone brick floors, mud brick and polished deepslate everything else, five floors, covers a surface area of 128 blocks long by 98 blocks wide. It has a full village inside it, populated entirely by cured zombie villagers so all of them give me cheap trades, and contains a bunch of automated farms, a manual farm in the basement, a stone generator, a lava generator, pretty much every job block, and even a tree farm on the roof. You can basically do anything without ever leaving the castle grounds :D

Just so you guys can get an idea of just how huge it is, and yes it is my biggest ever structure. Here’s the outer wall up close (I did a bit more work since the last pic, a moat, road, and drawbridge):

I based it on the castle from Adventures of Lolo, just with my own changes like spire-shaped roofs instead of flat ones for the towers. It’s actually why I put it on top of a mountain, and why I used mud bricks: I had to grade out the mountain for the castle, and I had like three full double-chests of dirt and a massive wheat farm in the middle area that I was growing as I farmed it out. I wouldn’t have otherwise used mud bricks, even though I love how they look, because of how painful they are to make XD
