I just stumbled upon this yesterday and haven’t laughed so hard in lord knows how long.
Depends on the level of the burn. I had a really bad burn and the skin there was even whiter than the skin around it for a long time.
No skin grafts, in case you’re wondering.
I think they mean when the skin heals over. I burned myself at work with 325 degree oil on my arm, and the worst part of it, where it essentially melted the top layer of my skin, is slightly discolored a little more pinkish.
I think they’re implying that all skin grafts come from white donors.
