I see this as Sinning had intercourse with Chrysalis rather than Cadance, which explains it being a white changeling. …but the issue is that babies don’t come from males, and instead females, so if Chrysalis were to have a baby, it would be in the changeling realm anyway.
 
Simply; it makes no sense for a baby from the first female to come out of the second female.

Considering that Chrysalis is a queen, she was clearly planning on making him her drone. (The drone is the only male of an ant/bee hive, whose sole purpose is to impregnate the queen)
 
Just think about what that may entail. And that chances are, considering that ants and bees reproduce like mad, that baby is NOT the only one of its kind at all.
 
And she was willing to leave Cadence to slowly die alone and heartbroken in a cave underground. Even if the show was TV-14, that is fucking cold!

Yeah, thing to keep in mind is that Shining Armor was being deceived AND mind-controlled.
 
He was raped, pure and simple.
 
I’m sure Cadence wouldn’t be cold enough to hold that against him.

That Chrysalis used her mind-control to rape Shining and then dropped off the result to these two? It kind of is, specially for the little critter whom will eventually learn… it(?) was born of rape.
