Someone should delete this fetish like comment cause this is not natural to talk about such stuff.
He looks horribly out of place and also adds nothing to the piece, in my opinion.
You did alright on this, and I certainly could not do better. But yeah, I personally would have left Mario out, since he really is just an Italian plumber sans hero to multiple kingdoms, however he never really struck me as a figure that would give any kind of interest in gay pride.
