Exactly. And at the same time, he also still has a lot to grow after his transformation, given he still has had a lot thrust upon him. Makes me wonder if he may transform again when trying to help Rainbow with Octavia.

Spike is being such a typically dumb anime protagonist right now. He said he couldn’t help Dash in her fight because he had to help Rarity. And yet, rather than actually getting help for Rarity, he’s just been holding her in the same spot this whole time while Dash has been getting her ass kicked. I was really hoping he was going to start being a lot more badass after his transformation, but sadly that seems not to be the case.
