Description

You know, I’ve always wondered why the song “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” had this little verse in it:

‘There’ll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories…’

Who tells ghost stories during Christmas? I mean, sure “A Christmas Carol” has ghosts, but that’s the only one I can think of! So that one verse spawned this fun image of little Twilight reading baby Spike a book that’s probably a little too scary for him called “Krampus”. Little do either of them know the real danger lurking behind them as they read!

BTW, I can totally see Twilight actually doing this as a kid. She seems like the kind of filly who’d like reading spooky stories and sharing them with her little brother.

My Little Pony - 1992 Edition

It used to be perfectly normal to tell ghost stories at Christmastime. Most of M.R. James’s ghost stories were written and read for the holidays.
