Wait a minute, so does the Unicron/unicorn joke happened before and after the G1 movie was released and some fans were like, “Wait a minute. If the Autobots are fighting the Decepticons, are they’re also fighting an evil unicorn?” and some were like “No, the Autobots are going to fight an evil giant metal planet size robot named UniCRON. His name is “Unicorn” bot with the O and the R swapped.”?

Well, the name “Unicron” is like “Unicorn” but placong the O after the R. Unicorns as well as alicorns have one horn but Unicron have two horns because he’s a horned-beast.

Quite frankly I found the whole joke stupid, and completely unnecessary. In fact, I find Miko as a character completely unnecessary and deviates away from the focus of the show.
But that’s just my opinion.

That also later happened in the episode, “Grill” when General Bryce tells Agent Fowler and thinks that Megatron ended up helping the Autobots effect an evil unicorn. But Fowler corrects it as UniCRON.
