That makes sense, what we see on tv and what’s currently being made are miles apart. I guess that gives a good reason why Derpy was absent for that time and shows up here, I guess this was a way for them to say. “We’re sorry fandom, here’s our apology present.”

She’s baaaaaaaaack.
My friend Anna/Mad-But-Happy speculated the reason we didn’t see much of Derpy/Ditzy this season, was due to the third season being produced while all the “Derpygate” drama was happening last year, so they took her out due to the drama, but then decided to put her back in, when they decided they aren’t taking her out of the show.
