Yeah no sweat. Hoofclid’s a good friend on mine and he’s not here on Derpi so I keep an eye on what’s happening with his art here. Likewise, sorry if I came across as confrontational at all. In any event, we can all agree Hoof is one of the most positive parts of this fandom hahaha

I see. Thank you for being thorough in checking on this and for being so civil with me. I hope I didn’t come across overly stubborn or confrontational with you, I have a poor record of realizing minutes after posting something that it won’t read as polite or calm as it sounded in my own mind.
Got the answer straight from the horses mouth and it turns out we were both in the right, to an extent.
So while I was right in that this wasn’t intended to be shipping, I’ll leave the tags because Hoofclid seems to want them there for people to find and enjoy the art more easily.
He tagged this “FlutterMac” on his tumblr. Maybe that was a mistake, but he’s done a number of cuddly picture specifically with them and had the two dancing together in a very romantic way at Hoofclid and Braeburn’s wedding, so I think I’m being reasonable and assuming they meant this as shipping.
