Dunno how many get dementia after hitting 100, but I guess Starlight’s guess is not super-far. Especially since they (the in-game characters) are in a medieval world without modern medicine. Depends also a lot if any magical researchers in Faerûn are interested in treating non-magical brain conditions like this one.
