Description

One of the things I found interesting about the season 9 premier was that Cozy Glow actually seemed to be making genuine effort to not only become friends with the other villains, but also have them be friends with one another. That just stuck in my mind as a sign that, despite all she did, a few of Twilight’s lessons about the importance of friendship actually managed to slip though to her. Sure, it took her being defeated and then sent to Tartarus, and yes she’s trying to associate with some of the worst people Equestria has ever known, but hey…progress? Maybe?

Background Pony Number 17

@Kryptid
Or maybe, just maybe, they become friends and STILL remain evil villains, thus subverting the entire premise of the show.

It’s the final season after all; the writers have nothing to keep them from throwing everything out the window.
AC97
Lunar Supporter - Helped forge New Lunar Republic's freedom in the face of the Solar Empire's oppressive tyrannical regime (April Fools 2023).
Non-Fungible Trixie -
My Little Pony - 1992 Edition

It would be interesting, having these three become something resembling friends.

If they do, then they might get an interesting ending.

But hey, for those of us that wanted irredeemable villains, Sombra died firmly in that category, and I think it’s a given that Grogar is in the “irredeemable” category too.

Would be a bit too unexpected even for my tastes if Grogar somehow ended up being the only one to even somewhat reform.
