There wasn’t anything outstanding about it beyond it being a library in a tree that’s Twilight’s home.
 
But despite that, it was so prominent in the background. You saw it every opening. You recognized it with barely a glance when you saw it even in passing during an episode. And unlike Twi’s gaudy castle now, it didnt feel like it was trying to project a personality, it just was.
 
There was nothing special about that tree. But looking at the show now is like looking at an incomplete picture. It just feels like there’s something missing in the background.

After all these years I still can’t think of anything to actually miss about this library it was just the place where Twilight used to live to me

As cool as their new castle is i do miss the old library house..

My internet went out the other day, so I watched an older MLP dvd. Figured I’d watch the return of the Crystal Empire.  
As soon as I saw the intro start playing, I knew I was in for feels…
 
Original dorky unicorn Twilight, Cozy treebrary… Nostalgia is like peeling onions sometimes.
