If that POS had turned out to be Spike’s actual biological father I would have stopped watching the show. The writers are cruel enough to Spike, but that would have been the last straw.

Question:
 
Let’s say they remade this episode, made it so that Sludge really was Spike’s father, and Spike ended up choosing his pony friends over his blood relative, but everything else was kept the same.
 
Would that improve the episode at all?
