Those are larva. Thorax looked like that originally, but another flashback in a later episode shows him with a horn and wings, but still clearly a “child.”

I think mana the immortal was referring to their adult forms. Not their larva stage. All the adult forms have a horn and wings, both when not reformed, and when reformed. So, it feels out of place to not give Celestia a horn in the art.

i know is a fanfic but changeling dont do this! changeling make baby! and a qween can make 10 or 100 more other female changeling! if the changeling really to this and only need love for survive is be long time all gone! why? no pony to feed on it will be the end! the show a prove the changeling make baby and prove changeling can eat other then love! and were the changeling be reform! the changeling can final eat normaly and can show to none changeling , the changeling are not evil can live in pease like the other creature of equestria! every time i fond a fanfic of changeling can transform pony to changeling i cant feel nothing a big fat lie on the changeling! sorry! i know you working hard on this but i dont a joy it! changeling dont do this! i approve the changeling live like the ant! live in a hive and protect the hive! but the changeling are more of this!
