I prefer the ones on the right, but don’t mind either.  
Just wish they could mix it up between them from time to time.

Maybe I’m biased because teal is my favorite color, but I feel Sunset has always looked better in cooler tones. She’s basically comprised of two colors, red and yellow, and it’s a crying shame when her clothes fall into the same part of the color wheel. Her Crystal Gala dress from LoE was an admirable attempt to use complimentary colors and bring out her eyes, and I sorely wish this was done more often. I also think they should have kept her magic’s color green/teal for the same reason, but that’s a bit unrelated to the topic of this picture.  
Not a complaint about the outfits per se, just the colors.

I liked the 2nd outfit of Sunset’s better. It just has better balance and compliments her character colors.  
On the Digital Series, especially the shirt blends in with her skin color too much.
 
For Twilight, both are fine. Although the earlier skirt is nicer. And the vest does compliment rest of the colors where as the lack of vest causes the shirt look a little bland.

I get what they were trying to do with Sunset’s second outfit, but I’ve never liked when the team puts her in green/teal. My only complaint about the series outfit is the collar on the vest is too big.
 
Twilight’s sweater vest outfit will always be hot garbage.

I dunno, I prefer the Digital Series’ clothing because their body proportions look relatively better! The only reason I don’t miss Sunset Shimmer’s old clothes is because of how wonky she looked like in terms of anatomy.

I’m more for Shimmy’s previous look (the right), and Sci-Twi’s digital series look, basically a mix.

I kinda have to agree. That jacket-skirt-jeans-boots ensemble looks very balanced and tasteful. The new one is sadly lacking.
