Yeah, I think you’re right. With Queen Cheese Legs, the highlights work since her eyes aren’t white but green.

Ahh thanks. So far I’ve done the normal highlights once here since her eyes aren’t pure white.  

 
But yeah, since theres a stronger emphasis on shading, the butterflies fill the empty void.

I noticed. I even seemed to have favorited and commented on some of them. I must have forgotten about that due to your avatar change. My mistake. Sometimes I’m bad with names and I often remember people on here based on their avatar. (It’s kind of why I went back to using my Skystar one after taking a break from it. Some other people thought I was a different person when I was experimenting with other avatars.)
 
It’s an interesting style. I really like it and hope you make more pictures like this. I think the eyes might have felt empty before putting the butterflies due to the style experimenting. The ones in the show have the big white highlights in them which helps prevent the eyes looking empty. But the eyes in this picture kind of reminds me a bit more of some older cartoons from the 30s and 40s so it probably would look odd with the double white highlights. So I think you made the right call on this one.

Aww, thanks! I’ve been posting art to here for a while now. ^^; I’m glad you like it, it’s a style I’ve been experimenting with. And to be honest, I kinda added the butterflies because the eye looked… emppty.

I saw your avatar and I did the reverse image search on it and it turns out you made it. I’m honestly really surprised. I didn’t know you were an artist. This is beautiful. I like the little butterflies in the reflection of her eyes too. That’s a really nice touch.
