I noticed. I even seemed to have favorited and commented on some of them. I must have forgotten about that due to your avatar change. My mistake. Sometimes I'm bad with names and I often remember people on here based on their avatar. (It's kind of why I went back to using my Skystar one after taking a break from it. Some other people thought I was a different person when I was experimenting with other avatars.)
It's an interesting style. I really like it and hope you make more pictures like this. I think the eyes might have felt empty before putting the butterflies due to the style experimenting. The ones in the show have the big white highlights in them which helps prevent the eyes looking empty. But the eyes in this picture kind of reminds me a bit more of some older cartoons from the 30s and 40s so it probably would look odd with the double white highlights. So I think you made the right call on this one.
