Still ponies are better for him than dragons, do you really think that if he leaves Ponyville and enters the Dragon Lands all the dragons will just say “Oh! Welcome Spike! Let’s be friends and stroll happily ever after in the colorful fields of friendship and share candies and flowers with each other”?
 
Yes, ponies are just as selfish as any other creature, but dragons are WAY worse than ponies, you might as well send him with Sombra!
 
You want to turn him into a pony? Well, there’s a page called “FIMfiction” where you can write it yourself and see what everyone thinks.
 
“Rarity called all dragons ugly”, yes, and what’s your point? She’s a prissy and maybe spoiled unicorn who is afraid to touch dirt with her freakin’ hooves! And I really don’t think she said that to intentionally hurt Spike! Either way that’s one reason why I really don’t think Sparity will ever work, I prefer Spike shipped with somepony who REALLY cares about him, like maybe AB, Pinkie, Applejack, Hell! I would even ship him with Twilight if she wasn’t his “adoptive mother”!
 
So it seems we have a problem about who cares and who doesn’t care for Spike “dude”.
 
But if you want to continue with this topic there are forums where you can let out your frustrations, artist’s shipping pics are NOT your complain space or anyone else’s place to fight over something stupid!

He cares more than you. Spike needs to be with more dragons, HE IS NOT A PONY! So either they turn him into one, or he leaves! Ponies who care about him?! HA!
 
Those ponies treat him like dirt, and when Spike stands up for himself bronies get mad cause her hurt that privileged Alicorn feelings!
 
Ponies are just as cruel as other creatures, the fact that you put them on a pedestal prices my point!

No way dude the reason why we love shipping spike with ponies more than with dragons is because he was raised by ponies not dragons plus I don’t want to think spike is gonna turn into big dragon when he grows up because I don’t ever want to see him leave his family and friends I would cry so much because I love that spike was born in a family of ponies because he has so many sweet ponies to care for him and always be there for him when he needs them same goes for spike him self and I love spike with all my heart and just reading your comment just sounds like you don’t even care about the little guy he needs a pony not a dragon because I don’t want to see spike become a bully like garble and the other dragons garble hangs out with but I’m okay with dragons like ember.

Spike needs a female dragon who he can actually get hatchlings from not some pony who he would crush with the sheer size of his……well.
