It’s also canon that the only difference between Rarity’s mane and Sweetie’s usual style is one strong tug of a brush.
 

I don’t have a problem with the hair. It looks like what I imagine her hair would look like if she were ten years older and grew it out.

Maybe she made herself look more like Rarity so he could find her more attractive. Spike has been shown (in canon) that he finds that hairstyle attractive.

I AM VERY interested.

I have to agree with Hopeful–at this look it’s too much like settling…not to mention that Sweetie Belle look too much like Rarity in this. We have to remember that Sweetie has green eyes, not blue, not to mention that her hair is curly all over the place, similar to Pinkie (except that Sweetie brushes and other things with the hair, I doubt Pinkie does that at all).
 
Also, where is her Two-Tone lavender and pink bangs? I can get a bit that it look more purple because of the lighting but still there needs to be a bit more that differenciates Sweetie from Rarity.
 
With that said, I would like to see more of this potential story. What are Rarity thoughts with this? Is she relived that Spike did go with someone his own age (even if the special somepony is her younger sister), or is there a bit of loss and regret that she didn’t give Spike a chance and Sweetie took advantage of it? There is definately there for part two and more…

I’m not very fond of Sweetie’s mane in this. It looks too much like Rarity’s. I very much like the idea of Spike and Sweetie Belle getting together, but not the idea of her being a consolation prize or a Rarity substitute. Unfortunately, to me, she looks exactly like Rarity, making it look just like that might be the case.
