In some ways. For one, with weapons from that era you always want to do center of mass shots because they’re terribly inaccurate.
 
Second, they’re terribly inaccurate, so for all we know he was aiming at the shoulder. And how good is Scoots’ aim?
 
But his actual artistic skills are pretty good.

Good art but terrible execution. Pistol Balls cant make a hole that big as an exit wound.
 
Second why didnt scoo shoot her anywhere but the heart? Alot better things could have happened from shooting her in the shoulder at that range. Sure your story or Dante reenactment , but it doesnt make sense in this scene.
 
Btw musket rifles with a short barrel can make that hole but not much rifles can.
