Hard to say. Ghosts are beyond the comprehension of us mortals :P

Depends. Most are totally irreverent toward humans, some are pranksters at heart, and a few are outright friendly like she is :P
Does this mean they are also afraid of humans? And is that why Zophiel starts every sentence with “Be not afraid”?

So I guess Zophiel may have the paperwork to get her into heaven, but she’d be quick to point out that the color of the pen she holds in her hoof is… rrrrroyal blue.
She’s solid to the touch. It’s why she’s gotta ooze through black tarry portals instead of just phasing through the wall XD

I never mentioned anything about that, but I was referring to their spooky nature and possibly how they are portrayed in the Mario franchise.

So holy/religious artifacts are not her weakness, but people being afraid of her are? That is quite an interesting premise for a ghost character.
She’s mostly just asking him because GMHAA is well-known for not freaking out at the sight of monsters XD
