Hey, if the 2001 live action adaptation of The Tick could do an episode on inter-relationship violence, I’m not going to call it impossible. The Tick was a… weird kind of show.
I cite Harley Quinn and Joker from Batman, The Animated Series.
It would be hard to pull off in the show, but they could do it. It wouldn’t be a married couple and would probably be a friendship lesson about being taken advantage of, where one person is either pretending or being a bad friend about it, and the other thinks that they’re doing good by sticking with it.
