Well, when the trailers hit theaters first, fans believed that Tempest would be the main villain of the film and the Storm King would be the overarching/final villain of the film. But unfortunately it was the Storm King who became the main villain throughout the entire movie despite Tempest having more scenes than the Storm King because sometimes, an evil leader of the main antagonistic group of a film, or a cartoon, or a franchise will always be the main villain.
It’s in the direct follow up to the prequel titled “The Stormy Road to Canterlot”.

Yeah, I’m starting to get the impression that they live on a Super Earth or a a magic gas giant with free floating continents on it.
I don’t think its a matter of being vengeful, but rather just not being ok with sweeping under the rug the fact that this person was happily handing us over to a dictator because she wanted something for herself in return. There’s a difference between wanting vengance and simply not easily forgiving those who knowingly tried to ruin our lives for personal gain.
But like I said, we know how its gonna play out.

Most ponies aren’t as vengeful as human beings.

There’s hardly any real violence in the show, so its obvious execution is impossible.
But she’s condemning her entire race for personal gain, knowing the exact consequences.
It’d be a breath of fresh air if they banished her forever at least. Or have her and the SK to Tartarus.
Even though we aaaaaaall know its just going to be forgiven in the end…

I was talking about how the movie could have treated it based on that shot. Like, you’d think she’d become a pony on land, but no she becomes a hippogriff and that’s it.

Well, the trailer is playing her up as THE big bad. Storm King hardly has any screentime beyond his joke with tempest and twilight.
Not really. It’s just a shot showing them with the pirates AND a hippogriff, who happens to be princess skystar.
That could have easily been interpreted as a throwaway sight gag

No, it would spoil the whole being hippogriffs thing.
