10? l like to much this episode but…. 10!?, Were are MAD!!!.
This episode is not up to excellents “10” episodes like Amending Fences, The Mane Attraction or some thing at the same level like The Saddle Row Review.

It's bad. In a good way!

I mostly enjoyed this for the sense that the episode was long overdue. And for the G1 shoutout. And for the first guard pony with personality… I’m gonna keep saying “and”. I guess it was a good episode. I don’t think it made me laugh once though, nothing seemed to go out of it’s way to really be funny. It’s was just, nice.

The beginning was a bit of a stretch. Why did Shining Armor and Cadance need Twilight if they could leave Flurry with ponies working for them in their Crystal Palace? That would remove any need for the episode but it means that moment was “the plot demanded it” moment, while this review pointed out there was none of such. Bad review.

I still feel really conflicted on this episode.

I wouldn’t go to far as to say “I didn’t like it”. There were defininetly a lot of cute and enjoyable moments, but I can’t really seem to place this in the “good episode” category. Maybe I’ll lighten up to it over time.

It was still a much better episode than Baby Cakes, I’ll give it that.

I don’t have a single complaint with this episode either.
Okay, one complaint. Steelhead’s art, it just invokes so much emotion in me! “A thousand nights in a hallway” really spoke to my soul.
