Well to be completely accurate while Gusty was a major character in My Little Pony ‘n Freinds; basically, one of the like 5ish that you could call the “main characters”, as there wasn’t really any actual main pony characters in that show like say the Mane 6 are. Gusty herself actually did very little in Return of Tambelon.
 
She only had one or two lines in the first part and appearing in the second with maybe one more short line IIRC. The actual main pony characters of that story were Ribbon, Galaxy, Forget Me Not and Lofty (or arguably North Star) They were the ones that did the most.

Not having watched any of the old G1 stuff, I always appreciate it when people point out these references. It’s pretty cool to know that they throw stuff like that in there for the real old school fans.

You’re right. Someone incorrectly told me that Tara did all three generations of Sparkles.

I always thought it was Tab’s that did Flurry.
 
oh and Jason Simpson (quick check on behindthevoiceactors.com) also did Carmel and spa pony Birch Bucket. Just in case if some of you are wondering.

Tara didn’t play Flurry Heart this time?

This episode was adorable as heck. Flurry was actually really cute and honestly didn’t annoy me as much as I thought she would. It had some nice callbacks to other episodes and haggard Cadence and Shining Armor was fun to see.  
The stuff in the art gallery was kind of meh but still enjoyable.
 
Spike was pretty good though out and Twilight trying so hard was fun to watch. Also, this had so many G1 references with that story! I love that so much. Grogar being the villain of the book; Gusty being the Hero, it all being a huge reference to the episode Return of Tambelon. There were likely some I missed as well.
 
Overall a great episode 8/10 for me.
