Ember: “I guess I should acknowledge your presence here..” Ember mumbled “Not like I have important Dragon Lord business to get back to.”
 
Spike: “Oh? But, I thought it was the Dragon Lord who commanded at least a few hours of snuggling before Coal and I leave for Ponyville, then again when we come home?” Spike began to sit up just a little. “Did you want to sto-”
 
Ember: “NO!” She quickly cut Spike off, a bright blush coming across her face. “I mean…it’s not like I keep track of the days or anything when you two come home. I barely notice when you two have gone.” She lied.
 
Spike: “Really? Cause when we write, I almost get your response letters immediately back.” Spike raised an eyebrow, smiling at Ember’s glare.
 
Ember: “Did the Dragon Lord say there would be talking?”
 
Spike laughed and nuzzled his wife.
