if you pay someone to create something just for you, and you don’t want anyone else to touch it, uploading it to derpibooru might not be the best idea in the world, just saying.
 
you can ask people not to edit, and you have every right to complain, but if you’re using your money to suppress people’s art, and you’re not even the original artist, that’s kind of bad, even if that art you’re censoring is merely replacing this character’s expression with poopie scoobie.

I don’t have to justify myself for not wanting an edit of a picture i paid for*.  
If you don’t “actually” care then just stop arguing. It seems like you want that edit really bad. If so than pay for it yourself. I don’t want anything changed on mine.

It’s called respect for someone else’s comission, versus just editing what you want from it, instead of commissioning yourself.
 
Why shouldn’t an edit of an image that someone else paid for upset them? I’d be upset if I commissioned something just for me, and them other people started editing it into generic garbage.

Well, but you still have your picture that was made specifically for you and is according to all your wishes. If people request an edit that just means you had good taste in paying for an image like that to be made. Why do you have to care if there is another version when you have what you wanted? Like I said, I don’t actually care that much its just that I find it odd how it would take anything away from your overall experience.

That might be how you see it, but to me it sounds more like he doesn’t want an altered version of his commission floating around.  
If it’s such a big deal to you, why not commission one just the way you like it?

It’s not about hating you. It just seems like you are trying to get people to appreciate your oc more by not allowing an edit with a different character even if it would change nothing about the original image. That can make people dislike the oc.

It isn’t, tho. It’s exactly what he asked for. That’s what makes it unique.  
An edit wouldn’t take anything away from that. Also I think 10 million is really exaggerated. There are barely any pictures with this paticular style and settup combinaton. And most of the pictures on derpibooru or the internet in general aren’t high quality art.
